Our Mission

The Back Alley Boutique & Bud Bar team aims to lower the stigma around cannabis use and educate consumers about its many benefits, while maintaining a welcoming and clean environment to create a positive interaction/introduction to hemp. Back Alley aims to provide a curated selection of locally created/sourced arts, crafts, gifts, and high quality hemp products to help facilitate the support of local small businesses in our community.

Who We Are

Back Alley Boutique and Bud Bar is a small business founded by Gabrielle Horvath & Ryan Mesa. This team is a unique & stellar combination given Gabby’s experience in product design, user experience, and creative manufacturing combined with Ryan’s background in social sciences, public service, education, and community development. Combining their respective interests & experiences along with their mutual love of cannabis, the dream of Back Alley Boutique & Bud Bar was born.

We believe in human connections, social responsibility, sustainability, and the best customer service possible. Our goals are to inspire, educate, and create community while helping our supporters find satisfaction in their hemp journey.

We are a new small business with young, community-minded founders dedicated to bringing the benefits of cannabis to the people in our local community & beyond as well as removing the social stigma too long associated with it.

We Support Farmers in the Carolinas

All of our Cannabis products are grown and harvested in the fertile lands of the Carolinas. We researched extensively to only bring our customers products from local farms that ethically grow the best strains. All premium hemp products start with great plants on exceptional farms with amazing farmers working towards a better result they can be proud of that everyone can enjoy.

Our hemp vendors make sure that their plants are evaluated for maturity and harvested carefully for optimal potency and benefit. We only sell products that have been third party tested for purity and potency.
